2017, Jake decided to take his involvement in the music industry to a new level by building his own soundsystem, with a focus on creating a platform and pushing messages of upliftment through amplified music. Recognizing the need for a dub style soundsystem in all types of UK 140/Bass and roots music events, he has been performing at major festivals and venues with his Firmly Rooted Soundsystem.
